Overview

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) covers every business that collects personal information: customer lists, patient records, employee files, even order forms. The National Privacy Commission expects specific documents and processes to be in place, and most small businesses do not know where to start. We help you comply step by step, led by a certified Data Protection Officer whose certification is valid until July 2028.

We start with a free data privacy checkup: a 1–1.5 hour review of how you collect, store, and share personal data, followed by a written gap and recommendation checklist within 1–2 working days. From there you choose a one-time compliance setup package and, if you want, a monthly support plan that keeps your compliance current as your business changes.

We support the Data Protection Officer you designate within your organization and perform the technical, documentation, and monitoring work. We are a data privacy compliance provider, not a law firm, and nothing on this page is legal advice.

Questions

DPO Services FAQ

Does the Data Privacy Act apply to a small business?

Yes. RA 10173 covers every business that collects personal information, whether that is a customer list, patient records, employee files, or a simple order form. The requirements scale with the sensitivity and volume of data you handle, which is why our packages start small.

Do I still need my own Data Protection Officer?

You designate a DPO within your organization; we support that person and perform the technical, documentation, and monitoring work. The Privacy Compliance Starter package includes DPO designation advice so the role is set up correctly.

How much does data privacy compliance cost?

The initial checkup is free. One-time setup starts at ₱5,000 (Privacy Compliance Starter), ₱18,000 for Compliance Build, and ₱35,000 for the Full Sensitive-Data Program. Monthly support runs from ₱3,000 to ₱8,000 per month, with 10–15% off setup when you commit to 12 or 24 months.

Can you help with NPC registration and breach notifications?

Yes. NPC registration help is included from Compliance Build upward, and DPO Managed Support covers breach response and NPC notification drafting, data subject request support, and a monthly summary for management.

Is this legal advice?

No. We are a data privacy compliance provider, not a law firm. We build the documents, processes, and training that the Data Privacy Act expects, and we recommend consulting legal counsel for legal opinions.
